Dave, they are an improvement over stock, but the carbon lines have considerable more feel over stainless lines. There has been members on here that have switched from stainless lines to carbon lines who have reported the same as well. As long as you are a seasoned driver, you should easily be able to tell the difference.

Also one other major difference over stainless lines is the fact that these lines in terms of routing is much more flexible, meaning they do not bind line SS lines do. On the rear it doesn't matter much since the suspension travel alone is not enough to cause any binding on the brake lines, but in the front with the steering angle and suspension movements stainless lines can bind at extreme angles. These carbon fiber braided lines have a huge advantage when it comes to this as well.
