Got a call from soon to be mother-in-law last night saying she got a text from Chelly that she was getting arrested. So I am like WTF.. and head to the police station. Dispatch knows nothing about it, and she isn't in booking either. Call my brother who is cop in town nearby and he can't find her. So I am trying to figure out where the hell she is. She ends up calling me, saying they let her go. She said it was an unmarked truck that pulled her over, and tried to pull her over on side street with no street lights. She pulled into a Gas station on corner and the cops supposedly where pissed. Telling her, WTF she think she was doing? She is going to jail, get out of the car. Never giving her a reason why she was pulled over, she got scared, ran inside the store and they came in saying she better come with them. Apparently they were so aggressive that the store manager stepped in and said that if they wanted to take Chelly in then they would have to call another unit to pick her up because she wouldn't let her leave store with them. Apparently more B.S. ensued and then they decided they let Chelly of with a warning (though never told her warning for what). She had gotten their names, and I was still at police station so I asked to talk to one of the supervisors. I'm talking to the supervisor, and ask him about Officer Marshel and Cooper and he informed me their are no officers by that name in the department. I asked him about the unmarked truck and he told me they only have unmarked cars no truck. Apparently it was some pseudo-cop and it scared hell out of me thinking how close it was to something happening to her. Worst yet they did get her driver's license so they may have her address.
