Good video. FWIW, why try and out-think the engineers? They specified a particular fluid for a critical part of the drivetrain. The GM fluid keeps the diff quiet, is clearly engineered for track use, has no history of causing excessive wear or grenading differentials and will never be a reason to deny a warranty claim if there is a drivetrain problem. That is all worth a few “extra bucks” for the relatively few times you ever change your diff fluid.
