Hey guys I have a question regarding this. It turns out I have the same issue of the left strut of my Camaro needing to be replaced. It's all under warranty so that's not the issue. The issue however is that before going to this dealership here, I went to another dealership and they told me that the thumping noise was because of my tires and told me to replace 2 tires on my vehicle even though my tires were in good shape. It was only after having the thumping noise return that I went back to them and they told me I need to replace the other 2 as well. Not trusting the dealership at this point, I went to another dealership which told me the issue was just the strut and that they have ordered it and will now replace for me once it arrives. My question is, do I have any basis to go to the first dealership and demand a reimbursement for the tires? Because of them I'm out $600 on 2 tires I didn't need. The issue is not about getting new tires early but rather the fact I wanted to change to different types of tires (Michelin) but because of the dealership I had to stick with these lousy Goodyears and will probably have to for a long time before I can switch tire types.
