$1275.00 ported blower
$200 upper pulley
$550 lower ATI damper and ring
$2025.00 in parts
If you do an upper and lower you will want some type of cooling mods like an exchanger and a reservoir count on 1500 plus for parts and labor. Or you can add meth kit 1000.00 plus labor and have a life time of having to fill a reservoir and buying meth there would also be a tiny worry that something might go wrong spraying meth and mess something up.
So now your 3k to 4000 in parts... for the OEM blower to make some good reliable power.
or you could do this..
magnuson 2650 6100.00
sell your blower for 1500.00
4600.00 about the same price as over spinning the OEM blower with out the added heat and they would produce the same power level but plenty of room to grow. The install is easy other than cutting factory valve covers or buying 1000.00 pair from some companies.
You still need to fuel it latter on with meth or race gas since it doesn't have port injection or you could even use the katech kit for 9k to run full e85 to reach into the 1000s when you did a cam.
But wait there's 1 more option..
The eforce 2650 route:
2650 eforce priced all the time from 4800 to 5300
Kong porting 1275.00 (this will make the blower flow and have IATs that match or surpass the maggi 2650.
You can fuel it the same way with Meth or race gas.
You can use the 9k Katech setup for full e85
But the real benefit Later on maybe if you did a cam and wanted more power you can use the readily available fuel injection ports and another controller like AEM, Holley, or Haltech run e85 for a ton less 5k range for fueling.
down side trim the hood.. (not the carbon)
6k to 6500 for the blower and porting sale oem for 1500 be out 4500 to 5000k with room to grow.
oem blower route should make close to 700 on 93 with proper cooling meth and 93 or even a little E 750s probably
the maggie and edelbrock on 93 should be past 700 with no cooling mods on 93
A cam with one of these 2650 on 93 octane alone have netted some 800 plus dynos you won't see that on 93 with a OEM blower with out meth, race gas, some E, or cooling mods and that's about as far as you will get on the oem blower.
with the 2650s past the 850s its a good idea to start investing in cooling mods for both units. Exchangers, reservoirs, and meth. The difference is you will be close to 150 hp more than an oem blower when you need these mods.
FYI both 2650s will make 1200 to the wheels on all pump e85 and cooling mods! the oem unit route you will spend same amount maxing out at about 750 to 800 rwhp
Hold on to your Boots 1 more option!
procharger..
port capability but a pricey manifold will make lower IATS and can make more power on all fuels. Cons noisy operation and not factory looking.. pros killer blow off valve noise! cool looking exchanger in the front grill... higher top end (more MPH) good for roll racing lower TQ..
I'm sure some one can chime in on this and a twin turbo route! I have had both on previous car not a fan.
