If you are driving a car with 455hp and capable of a 0-60 of ~4 seconds (Which were supercar numbers not long ago) and you can't "pass with authority" then it's you and not the car. Getting a new car isn't gonna solve your problem. Figure out what gear you need to be in to get your launch from at certain speeds and put the car in that gear. It's not hard considering the A8 will just do it for you.
Also recording while driving is dangerous at any speed regardless if people are around you or not so you should probably quit doing that.
