NEVER EVER have I EVER heard of anyone driving a car with the power of the Camaro SS and feel they have to have the car in manual shift to feel as though they have power. It almost seems you are pulling off a nice troll stunt because what you say makes no sense.
Something is wrong alright and it ain't the car and I'm thinking it never will be the car.

I have stated this over and over again, it’s the throttle response/delay in regular drive mode, the car doesn’t immediately pull the instant I hit the gas, in manual mode it does,
The A8 in the SS doesn’t downshift quick enough to pull immediately as I randomly gun it, as in manual mode it does. The power is fine.... it’s the time it takes for the car to downshift in auto mode that makes me not feel in control. There is also a “dead zone” in the pedal when in auto mode I’ve noticed, how I’m assuming it’s either for gas, or that the car is just a torque monster and GM doesn’t want you to get hurt.
