This happened yesterday (again) coming back over some mountains from Alabama to Georgia I passed a dually diesel Ram, on a two lane road in a passing zone. Prior to me passing him Mr. Truck Driver was content to cruise along at about 50. Once I passed him he discovered the desire to drive closer to 70 and tailgate me. Like he had something to prove. Once it got really twisty he found he couldn't prove whatever he was trying to.

No, it's not just you. It's an amazing phenomenon, right after you pass these overgrown snails, they suddenly find the friggin accelerator pedal.
My favorite part, as you're passing them, you hear their trans downshift and their engine go WOT, but you still keep passing them
