good choice on the early 2nd gen great looking cars.that said a 5th gen v6 will kick ass speed wise,handling and breaking against a stock 1st or 2nd gen SS396 and it will take some doing to get it as tight and as relatively rattle free as you 5th gen. a really good 2nd gen build to get up to what you have will be very costly.as long as your ok with that then by all means go for it.i got tired of building cars and never being totally happy with them so i kinda went the bought not built route. but you can take alot of personal pride in a built car.
i would actually sell you car and buy this.for $20500 ya can't beat it.
