As soon as the new pump was in the car I backed the JMS back down to 16.2v and then I put the fuel pump voltage in the tune to the 15.7v that the ZL1 uses. So far no issues, low pressure side on my logs holds over 70psi all the way up to E55 with no issues. Now if I could just get my high side to keep up, thats a whole nother problem.

Honestly the pump failure is unrelated and only coincidental.
We have installed hundreds of these over the years at 17.5 volts all the way back to 2009 on GM, Ford, and Chrysler, cars and trucks.
The voltage does not go directly to the pump it goes to the FPCM then the FPCM converts it to a PWM signal to run the pumps.
Changing the alternator voltage in the tune only further helps the whole system work better.
Lets not start a frenzy here LOL.
Ted.
