HP = Torque x RPM ÷ 5252

The faster you can spin the engine, the more HP you make. If, on paper, you were to stop a pull on a voodoo or coyote at at Chevy's 6500 redline you'll see the limit of their engines pretty readily.

This is an old Z/28 chart, but it makes the point that sure the mustang can make a few more HP, but it only does it at the very top of the curve at over 7k RPM.

Area under the curve is what you feel with your butt-dyno. And this is why most folks like driving the Camaro more on the street.
