If not that big of a difference, I'd personally stay with the Goodyears as I believe they're less expensive then the r888r, no?
Had some great conversations around these on the autoX course at CamaroCon. I'm a huge fan of the GY 3R on the road track but they take a couple laps to warm up which makes them not too good for AutoX.

The guys running Toyo had good grip from the start and these tires are also legal to use in most SCCA classes as well. I might give them a try on my second set of wheels, but not giving up GY for the road track.
