Your hp numbers are correct, Sir, no question about that.

I wasn't aware either of the "rules" of any "game" based on just that one post of yours, but the truth (that MackSteelPrivateEye implicitly confirmed) is that what one actually experiences is torque, and the sub-4k torque that one typically can use in daily driving is much more drastically different between the LGX and the LT1.

Again, this is far from the entire story with regard to daily driving a car, and I never claimed that it is. Now that that OP keeps mentioning "love" and "enjoyment" and seems not overly concerned with the financials, however, I'm leaning towards recommending the LT1 or even the LT4 for the ultimate "oh, s**t" experience.
