I know this is an old thread, but I changed my oil, added 10 quarts being very patient to put in every drop, and it reads 1/2 quart low on the dipstick. That's weird, I would prefer that the top mark of the dipstick to be the full level. I wonder if the manual means 10 quarts without filter? They list the v6 as 5.5 quarts in my 2016 manual, but my 2011 manual lists the v6 as 6 quarts.
