A few months ago, I was driving with the stereo off so I could hear the SC whine, and I noticed that in stop and go traffic, I could hear a squeak coming from the clutch pedal area every time I pressed the clutch.

Not on release, only when pressing.

I sprayed a little bit of while lithium grease on the pivot joints of the clutch pedal assembly under the dash. This helped for a few weeks, but the squeak came back.

Anyone else notice this? Is there a better fix than applying lithium grease every other month?
