I ordered and purchased mine at 28. I too was initially looking at corvettes and the salesman said, "you should check out this zl1 over here". After that I was pretty much sold on getting a zl1, but no way was i purchasing the red one on the lot (huge Florida Gators fan). My GTO made me power hungry so the 455hp in the vette was just too close to my GTO to justify not going for the zl1.
