I get it... speed is great but it's also a massive obsession and money pit for many. Asking the question "For What?" is perfectly reasonable.
I've had many fast cars, some faster than my current SS, and now I just appreciate the driving experience in it's totality. Because you can ALWAYS go faster and the comment about a fast 0-60 or 0-100 never getting old may be true, but the real problem is the perception of "fast" changes.
IDK how many times people here have said the SS feels slow and sluggish, despite a ~4sec 0-60 time. And I get that, but the definition of "fast" is so different now than when I was a kid. I had a poster of a 455 hp / 4200 lb Lamborghini Countach on my wall that is decidedly slow vs my SS. But back in the day it was shockingly fast!
