Hoping for Watkins Glen next year. I actually tried to register for the Glen this year, but waited too long and it was sold out weeks in advance. "Settling" for Palmer wasn't a bad alternative, but Watkins Glen is my favorite track for sure, even if it's a 6 hour drive to get there. If not the Glen, I would go to Lime Rock anytime and it's an easy 2 hour drive. Would love to meet up sometime since we hit some of the same tracks. |
The Glen is a great track that is opened up nicely so these cars can stretch their legs yet technical enough to keep your focus. Not too late to register for another event, try COMSCC, they currently still have a few openings for the Glen Sept 9-10th. The 9th is a typical HPDE event, 10th is two practice sessions and a TT. At the track I typically try and meet up with fellow Camaro drivers to see if they are forum members, so if we do time it right and end up at the same track we'll meet either way.
