I ran DS 2500 in my Evo X and it's a decent pad for street/track combo use but will wear quickly under heavy duty aggressive driving on track, and may cause fade after repeated late braking from high speeds with the ZL1. I switched from DS 2500 to Raybestos ST-43 after my DS2500 wore out after only a few track days.
I'd be surprised if the specs for the DS2500 are more heavy duty than the stock ZL1 pads, but sounds like you have the specs to show that. After 4 hard track days on OEM ZLE pads they're still in great shape (maybe the ZLE vs. ZL1 pad difference accounts for this)
