I picked up the Hooker Race cat-back setup when Holley was selling it on mega-clearance for $270. I picked it up as it was a cheap way to get the secondary cat delete and x-pipe.
I decided to throw the whole system on just for fun.. it is LOUD. Drones in 6th pretty bad. It sounds good, but I'm surprised I haven't been pulled over for it yet.
Before that I had the Borla secondary cat delete with the stock NPP setup. Getting rid of the secondary cats adds a nice bit of sound without going to overboard, but if you live someplace where they do emission inspections you may be out of luck.
The only thing the NPP fuse pull does is stop the valve from closing at light throttle cruising, mainly 5th and 6th gear. With the exhaust in track mode the valves stay open most of the time anyways.
