Many of us that have bought low cost performance parts and have bad experiences with them tend not to post about it because we don't want to be shamed for the decision with "it's your fault for going cheap". IMO it is a roll of the dice with the low cost stuff - sometimes good, sometimes crap.
Also, like I said before the materials are different based on where they are sourced. Nevertheless, we know GM sources a lot of stuff from China and it works well in our cars. I believe that the issue with the knock off headers is mostly due to the R&D and the Q&A that goes into making them, and not the metal itself.
