Just because there is data and tables present in the ECU that you can see with HPTuners doesn't mean it's enabled.

I agree with you and with that as a datapoint it possible that all the AFM hardware is in the engine, but it’s not enabled.
Even if electronically disabled the AFM lifters, solenoids, oil lines, and electrical
are in place, so there may still be an operating condition that allows oil consumption through the system. AFM Oil consumption on Gen6 Camaros has been recognized as an issue by GM.
