How did you confirm nothing changed as far as "bounce rate"? First, do you mean bump (compression) or rebound?
I guarantee you things changed, but you wont notice unless you're on a track at high speed in a tough turn trying to hold maximum grip over an uneven surface, and then the grip you had before you changed the DSSV springs to achieve the stance you want is suddenly not there anymore.
To know if it works you or someone before you needs to put the new combo through on-track testing, or have a suspension shop test it on a shock dyno.
