Everything in reality started out as a dream. So many people grew up poor saying "I'm going to buy a Corvette some day" and then they do. That's essentially what the Corvette is. The supercar that you CAN reasonably attain. Just think in a few years these early C8s will be selling used for around 45-50k, most of them babied, garaged, and in pristine shape.
The C8 is a complete game changer. For the first time in history, there will be mid-engine supercars showing up in average, residential neighborhoods in front of average houses. I think its hilarious and uplifting at the same time.
"Hey Bob, hows the yard doing? Kids doing well? Oh hey, whats that mid-engine supercar doing in your garage?"
