Nothing has been announced nor will it.
When GM shut down Pontiac (and Saturn and Hummer) sales were poor. It wasn't just the G8. So all of those sold badly and did it perhaps have anything to do with buying from a company in the throws of bankruptcy? Even IF GM had announced the car was cancelled or shelved, and they HAVE NOT announced anything, comparing to Pontiac isn't the same thing.
