Variable displacement compressors can go all the way to a nearly zero duty cycle as the rpms climb up. If they didn't, AC pressures would sky rocket and the system will be damaged.

What this means is that the interchiller will still lose some of it's cooling capabilities at WOT. Just not as badly as an older clutch style compressor would.

Either way, they kick ass.
