I agree. The hood vent is pretty gimmicky. Sometimes less is really more.
Now, a car like the ZL1 has a much better designed ducted hood vent that works along with the lower bumper intake and plastic close out panels on the bottom in the front.
An L99 in AFM fart mode doesn't really need a hood vent.
