I wouldn’t have a problem with them running my credit. That way they know the rate they have to beat to make the deal. Sometimes they can beat the credit union, other times they can’t. The extra pull for an auto loan won’t hurt your credit. Finance guys don’t like it when you pay in cash, as mentioned earlier. If I was paying cash I wouldn’t let them do it.
