When the C8 comes out being GM's mid engine platform, the Ford GT will just be an overpriced V6. Ford has announced it will make 350 more units of the GT until 2022. Then I assume they will quit making it. And the Corvette will live on like it always has.
+1.....Here is the ZR1 beating the Ford GT's record breaking time just a week later at VIR. Wow, so the Ford GT's record smashing lasted a whole week. Big deal.
