ZL1 Hawk DT70/60 pad question

Hi All,

About to put a new set of Hawk DT70/60 pads on the ZL1 for its maiden weekend at COTA in a couple of weeks. Looking at the front DT70 pads (HB631U.622) I noticed that everything is exact to stock except the pad diameter in the middle. The stock pad seems to curve in to 31.5mm and the Hawk pad stays out at 34mm. I compared a set of PowerStops I had and they were exactly like stock.

Does anyone know if the extra diameter of pad will cause any issues? I understand that one of the companies out there somehow modifies the pads to “fit” and I’m wondering if this is the modification needed.

Anyone with experience running these?

Thanks!
Neal
