I just removed my RS spoiler so I could run rally stripes below it and down the back of my trunk lid. I was shocked to find the OEM spoiler has 9 total fasteners (6 screws + 3 clips) PLUS 3M tape running around the entire perimeter!
Seems like overkill to me, but the folks in Warren must have a good reason to have all of these fasteners securing this 2 pound piece of plastic.
