Which spoiler? If double-sided tape was good enough to keep a spoiler on then the OEM spoiler would probably come that way. Keep in mind the weather from the hottest summer day to the coldest winter day. Think about the cost and damage if the thing comes loose unexpectedly at highway speed. If you aren't able to secure it correctly then maybe save your money.
