Hi Everybody,
With just over 24 hours remaining, now is your last chance to join in on the Group Buy and lock in your savings. The deal closes on May 7th at 11:59 pm PST. For those still curious how the 19x10” ET20 front and 19x11” ET43 rear looks on these cars, it’s perfect! Pictured below is Jason’s 6th Gen SS 1LE with Eibach lowering springs, finished off with our 10”/11” staggered setup wrapped in 285/35-19 front and 305/30-19 rear Bridgestone RE71R tires.
For track enthusiasts, additional negative camber is crucial for better lap times and tire performance. Ground Control has recently come out with their adjustable Caster/Camber Plates for 6th Gen models to complement their current lineup of 5th Gen plates. Dialing in additional camber through a camber plate is much better than the factory spindle adjustment for two reasons. First, the most you can get from the factory adjustment is about -2.2* on a good day. While that is better than nothing, it pales in comparison to the -3* or more that the Ground Control plates offer. Second, and most importantly, dialing in additional camber at the factory location eats up in wheel/strut clearance like no tomorrow. When trying to fit big wheels and tires up front, it's crucial that you use plates for an optimal setup. For more information about negative camber and its benefits, please see the article below:
