2018 ZL1 Rear Differential Fill Bolt

I’ve hit 3000 miles on my 2018 ZL1 and keep reading about how we should be changing the rear diff fluid at 1500. I didn’t want to pay the ridiculous price for having this done at the dealership so I bought everything I needed to do this myself: trolley jack, jack stands, oil pan, and diff fluid.

I got the car jacked up and couldn’t for the life of me get the top (fill) bolt to budge. Tried WD40 and different angles but it wasn’t moving. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions for me? I’m just using a standard socket wrench with a short extension.

I would like to avoid going to the dealership, especially since I’ve already forked over the money for all this equipment that I probably wouldn’t have purchased otherwise.
