As far as fuel component degradation - the components are fine as we now have states mandating 15% ethanol for regular gasoline. Pretty much any car made after 2004 should be 100% ethanol safe as far as not having the ethanol dry out / rot / corrode any components.

However when storing a car for long periods of time (here we have a storage season of 5-6 months) it would be best to store it with non-oxy gasoline. The alcohol can absorb a lot of water from the atmosphere, which (1) your car will not like to run on and (2) once the water is in the tank, could cause some corrosion issues
