I know the sensor is “supposed” to be installed before the cat, per the instructions. But why is it that when you go to a dyno, they stick the sensor up the tailpipe? Maybe a different sensor or something? I find it odd, because I’ve had a very well-known and respected tuner on this forum (who shall remain nameless) tell me to just install the sensor in one of the aft O2 ports behind the cat! He will be doing my tune. But maybe it’s because I have 2” headers w/ HF cats? Or maybe because my car is just a basic bolt-on car not pushing any crazy HP? I’m conflicted!
