Sorry guys but it looks like you’re going to have to wait until this evening on the idle clip. The firewall on my work PC blocked the file and I can’t seem to add the clip using just my phone. I promise to add it as soon as I get home! The idle sounds about perfect to me, it’s only very slightly more aggressive than stock. On the video, it’s almost an imperceptible difference, but in person the trained ear can definitely pick up on it.
I’m anxious to start working with Ted on tuning. I’m still going pretty easy on the motor as virtually everything is brand new; I also need to get my JMS boost-a-pump installed before hammering on it too much. I can certainly tell that it’s a lot stronger and as an unexpected bonus, the drivability on Ted’s initial tune is far better than it was before. The dead spot I had experienced when transitioning from no boost to boost is 99% gone – I have to really search for it with the throttle now where before it was borderline intrusive.
