Yes, but in the Dec 18/Jan 19 issue of Road and Track, Bob Lutz says that the goal is to sell the C8, version for version, at a little more than the C7.
He went on to speculate that the new C8 will be about $5000 more model for model than the C7. He WAS speculating because he wasn't in the loop a the time, but I trust his speculation more than anyone else.
In other words, I wouldn't worry too much about the price increasing by a large amount, like some others are speculating...
