I've read every comment in this thread, and spoken with a friend that has the ZL1 1LE, and I have made a decision....

I'm in the process of selling my 2010 SS and I will be getting the ZL1 1LE. The ride can't possibly be as harsh as my SS is/was....

I do like the solid stance and feel of a well planted car, and I'm willing to give up a little "comfort" for that feel....

Thanks for all the comments pro and con.... It has helped me decide.... I haven't ordered my new car yet, as I need to sell my SS first, but there is a buyer for it as my 2010 is a niche car....

I'm looking for a reliable comfortable car I can drive around the country supporting others as they race their rides.... I might make a easy pass or three around some road courses, but mostly I just want a more sedate and fun car to drive, that has all the performance I need at this point... Maintenance and tire costs will drop tremendously selling my SS and buying this car... Since I am being medically retired, it's time to slow down a bit....

I've even chosen the color I want with the help of my wife.... These are Chevy website photos.... obviously not my car yet.... but soon....
I was looking at the Garnet Red Tintcoat, as my 2010 is Red Jewel Tintcoat, but my wife led me around the different colors and this one jumped out at me...

I'll be purchasing my new car through Becky, and I'm so looking forward to going to Detroit to take delivery...
