I can see this making things easier if you have radially mounted calipers like the GT350, but for the SS 1LE having laterally mounted calipers you'd have to slide the rotor and caliper on at the same time, meaning you're now needing to align the rotor with the wheel studs and caliper studs with the knuckle simultaneously. To me, that sounds more difficult than just holding the caliper over the rotor to align the caliper bolt...
