You will probably get comments about only patching the tire in the "safe repair zone," but you don't sound like the type that would do otherwise.
Personally, I still plug tires with this type of damage (nail puncture), and I know that is viewed very unfavorably in some circles.
Yea I wouldn't try to patch a questionable or no go spot just to save a few bucks.

I'll go ahead and patch it since the tire still has plenty of life left and just refrain from any high speed shenanigans until I replace them (which depending on how long the nail's been there I've probably inadvertently done already lol).

The 305's look mean but I fear the day I need to replace all 4 tires! lol
