In regards to the computer limiting power, it cuts TQ by as much as 50 ft-lbs starting around 3,500 RPM, so the the TQ management is very real. A tune would pick up massive mid range torque, I know that for sure.

Would be interesting to see what the dyno numbers look like now that the ECU has had a chance to relearn with feedback from the TCM.
