Interesting I wonder if simply noting that triggers a knee jerk reaction in pricing similar to any accident noted? Mind you I'm with you man that's a damned fine car you have and I would be insulted if it were mine & that's what I got offered even if I was just poking around to see.
I suspect a modded car would be harder for them to sell to their customer target group. Of course a modded car could bring good money especially in a private sale when it's the right kind of buyer who realizes they got more oomph for less money than doing it themselves. But in the end I feel its a scam too.
