Another thing I just thought of....Does the sanctioning body that is running the event allow UTQG rating of 100? If it's minimum 200 then the 3R's are automatically out.
It’s a super casual event. No rules, just timed laps for fun. I’m not buying new tires......already own the 3s for street driving, and 3Rs for track days. Will be running one of these 2 options.

Thanks for the feedback......that’s kinda what I’m thinking......the base S3s will be better for colder tire temps.

Anyone else care to weigh in?
