Okay, here's the ultimate arbitrator for these pesky weights, directly from the official 2018 Chevrolet ordering guide.

Interestingly, SS models with the 8L90 are heavier than those with the TR6060, but LT's with the 8L45 are lighter than their manual trans counterparts. Not exactly sure why, but I guess the transmission cooler makes up for the majority of this difference.
