Ive tried to make a few deals on 18 ZL1's and the dealers are out of their minds on trade in values... I get a dealer has to make money on a trade, but I have had offers from 8-12k below resale price on my trade(anywhere from 4-8k under NADA, KBB, etc... trade in values). EVERY dealership says "well our cars are so discounted that we arent making any money on the sale"... I have responded to each one with "your car is discounted based on GM incentives so your dealership isnt losing a dime." I hear crickets from them. There is a reason there are lots of cars sitting around.
