I’m at my wits end with my dealer. Took the car in 4 months ago for the shudder. Sure enough it comes back at the end of the year and the tech I’m working with says to hold off until the new fix. I bring my car in 2 months ago for a starter issue and bring up the tranny problem again. This time the tech tells me the new fix has left a shortage of the new fluid. Keep calling and they should get some soon. On March 3 my bumper to bumper warranty expires but I’m told that the issue is known and not to worry. I call last week to see if they have the new fluid and my tech doesn’t work there anymore....and there are no other follow up notes in the system since my original complaint. I talk to a new tech who says - bring it in - we need to run diagnostics (which I get) to determine and it could be any one of 5 different fixes. Ok - I bring the car in today and they tell me there could be a $150 diagnostic charge if GM doesn’t think this is part of the power train warranty or related to the previous work. What BS.
