I would assume that it would be automated to the point where it doesn't matter. The appropriate parts get lined up in the order that the cars go down the line. I would think that even within the different trim levels, there would be too many different combinations of options that it would be difficult to arrange them in batches of the same sets of options. I mean, after all it is all the same car, just with different combinations of parts. If you're working the bumper station, for example, then you just grab an SS bumper if it's an SS or grab an LT bumper if it's an LT.
