This sounds very much like what I've experienced on track when I left traction control on. At that time, on the way out of a corner, traction control always kicks in so it cuts power. When the car is almost straight, it starts to pull very hard all of a sudden, which is annoying and bad.
After I learned more about driving on track, I tried "Competition Mode", which disables traction control. A huge difference! I can gain much more control of power by modulating gas pedal and a lot of improvement of lap time.
Not sure if your car has PTM but if not, definitely try the "Competition Mode" next time!
