Building an LT1/LT4 is not an inexpensive deal, by any stretch of the imagination. I have not tracked the car, as it was just done a couple months ago and I haven't driven it much due to cold and an extremely wet winter we have had in Middle TN this winter. For a build such as mine, if you are having somebody else do the work, you can expect to spend north of $20k, including the new forged short block, heads, cam, labor, supercharger, ect. There are certainly less expensive ways to get there, but this is the route I chose.
